Adoptable Pets of the Week
- Breed: Domestic Short Hair
- Gender: Male
- Born in 2003
- Loves being brushed
- Enjoys napping and treats
Higgins has no trouble making his own fun, and he has done just that since arriving in 2003 from a shelter in Boise. Higgins' idea of a great day is waking up, falling asleep in the sun, waking up and watching all the action around him -- or not. He also enjoys going on walks, and then he might enjoy a treat. Next up, he may have to take his bladder medication. Then Higgins might be ready for the litter box (and he knows to use the litter box!). After all that action, it's probably time for another nap.
If someone comes to see him, Higgins may muster up the energy to greet them for a visit. Petting is good, brushing his back is GREAT!
Higgins wonders what life would be like without all these other cats around. He thinks he'd like to live somewhere quiet, alone with a few good human types who would be willing to pet him occasionally and brush him A LOT. Maybe that's you?
- Breed: Husky/Shepherd mix
- Gender: Male
- Born in 2002
- Loves going on walks
- Has never met a stranger
This older fellow came from a really rough background. But he's so forgiving! You'd never know all that he's experienced; he is just wonderful! Benson jumps around for joy, loves to give kisses, happily rolls over for belly rubs, and is always up for a walk, another walk, and more walking!
He's really a puppy at heart. Since what he lived in really wasn't a "home" by any stretch of the imagination, he is learning his basic house manners and his sleepover reports say he is doing great.
Benson gets along well with most dogs, and he loves every person he meets!
