Never wanting to miss a moment when she can scare her executive producer, Andy, Ellen jumped at a chance during a commercial break.

hi ellen . love your show. I read this article today thought you might like it. Here's something you don't see every day: an uplifting shoplifting story. Miami woman Jessica Robles tried to leave a supermarket without paying for $300 worth of groceries. She was stopped by police officer Vicki Thomas, who could have arrested her right there. She didn't. When Thomas heard Robles had three children with nothing to eat, she spent $100 of her own money to buy groceries. Thomas did charge Robles with a misdemeanor but made sure she knew about local food banks and other places she could get help. The Miami-Dade Police Department stands by Thomas completely. "Police officers do have discretion, and what Thomas did was completely in bounds," a rep for the department told AOL. — By Nick Mangione [Source] [Source]

I would like to tell Ellen about to increditable (first time )parents, that are dealing with a infant that has
Epilepsy, and contuines to have seizures. The Babys name is Easton and he has been going thur a lot of shots and treatments, the Parents (my cousins) best parents ever, are so exhausted! But they are hanging in there, they love this little guy so much, they have been in quarantine for a while, no one can come into their house until Easton is done with his shots, too many gems, so people have been dropping off food for them. I was hoping there was some way to show them and other parents like them to keep praying and maybe someday a cure for this will come along. I hope they can get some rest. Thank you Ellen for hearing my story, you can find all their updates on face book, they keep us all updated since that is the only way we have contact with them, their names are Brad Jackson and Kim Schroeppel.
We also set up a calendar to bring them food. The calendar is http://www.carecalendar.org/index.php?cid=121960......
Calendar ID 121960......
Security code 1894
they live in Georgetown, Texas
