Charcoal

• Loves people, especially when they pet him

Charcoal is eager for love! When you approach him, he comes right over to meet you with his tail swishing back and forth like a happy puppy dog. This affectionate cat just wants to be petted and loved.

Charcoal came to the Sanctuary when his caregiver was planning to move and noticed he needed veterinary care. He arrived with an abscess on his neck, which is responding very well to treatment. A little scruffy from his outdoor life, Charcoal has beautiful pale green, expressive eyes and great big paws.

This sweet cat is tired of living on his own. He's hoping to find a real home, where he can be someone's pampered pet for the first time in his life. Could you be the one to make Charcoal's dream come true?

Brindie

• Breed: Labrador Retriever
• Gender: Female
• Born in 2011
• Great with other dogs and small children, too
• Cats would not be good roommates for her
• Young, healthy, and playful

Everything in the world is exciting to Brindie. New friends, old friends, anything on the other side of the fence-you name it! But that's where this high-energy Lab gets herself into a little bit of a pickle. If there's something that's just begging to be sniffed, she can jump a fence. And if that doesn't work, she may dig under it. That's why she landed at Best Friends. Her family couldn't figure out a way to keep her contained.

You can feed her need to explore by taking her on fun outings like leash walks or a nice long hike. She might even enjoy jogging or camping. She loves to go places with people. And she loves to play with other dogs. She often attends doggie playgroups and is tons of fun! But no kitties, please!

Brindie would love to live with an active family. Will you take her out to explore the world?
