Dancing Lady

Dancing Lady got her name because she dances around with her tail wagging until she comes close enough to take a treat or be leashed up by one of her friends. Once she's comfortable with you, Dancing Lady enjoys taking walks and will even paw your hand to ask for more petting. But she's shy with people she doesn't know.

She came to Best Friends from an Arizona sanctuary that's closing down. Born in 2004, she spent most of her life there. So she's been waiting a long time for a home! Dancing Lady gets along great with other dogs and is in good health. At 45 pounds, she's the perfect medium-sized girl. Besides dancing, she can also easily climb and jump fences, so she needs a home with a secure fence and someone who will keep her safe.

Please make Dancing Lady's dream come true by choosing her as your partner.

Nova

The laundry room is Nova's favorite place. You can usually find this pretty little Calico curled up behind a stack of freshly washed towels. She's one of more than 100 cats rescued from a horrible situation of neglect in the Pahrump, Nevada desert, so Nova is still not sure she can trust people. But she is curious about them, and when she's in the right mood, she even lets her caregivers pet her.

Most of the time, she's content to stay in her cozy hideaway, safe from all of the activity going on around her. But if she could find a quiet home, she might open up and let you get to know the real her. Born in 2004, she's doing great health-wise. And she's okay with other cats.

If you have a special way with reserved kitties, Nova would welcome the chance to leave the laundry room behind for a home of her own. Could you be the one to give little Nova the chance to shine?
