Since the announcement that Ellen would be a new spokesperson for JCPenney, there's been an outpouring of support. There have also been a handful of critics. Ellen addressed them head-on in her monologue.

The majority of JC Penny shoppers will be offended and stop shopping there? BULLPOOP!! The majority of people do not give a flying rat's butt. It's just a few thousand sexually repressed haters trying to bully people to support their views. And I guarantee you that at least 70% of the people in that million moms group are gay themselves, and they joined that group just to try to prove to people that they are not gay, just like Rick (frothy boy) Santorum bashes gays, and he's as "funneer" as a 3 dollar bill. ;-P I love Ellen, and I am not gay, but if I were a woman, I would be gay for sure, coz nothing is finer than a beautiful woman's body. Go Ellen!!!

Don't pay attention to anyone else if you choose to represent Penny's .that's your business. I'LL never forget when I was 15 or sixteen (yr & yrs ago) I bought a cute dress with my own money from my job I worked hard for. And I wore it to chur so proud it was a cute dress got several compliments on it .But a smart ass girl with money went out of her way to walk up to me and said I do believe dress I saw that dress in Penny's catolog .of course she always bought her clothes from expensive specialty shops. Sorry Ellen guess I got a little carried away there. But it is a true story.ha ha

I have never gotten involved in this huge debate of whom is sleeping with whom because it doesn't affect me or my family who anyone else loves so I never thought of it to be a big deal. BUT!!!!! This commercial thing has me puzzled. I don't see anything at all even remotely wrong about Ellen's commercial. I am wondering why nobody is saying anything about the Big Lots commercial where the little boy asks for a Barbie and the "exclamation point" lady gives him a weird look and he quickly says its for his sister. So what if a boy asks for a Barbie. This is just ridiculous, if you don't like the commercial, change the channel. My whole family, including my children, love Ellen.

Have been anxiously awaiting the Christmas "buttons" which Ellen talked about. She is so very honest but I don't think she knows the "skinny" on this promotion. I finally got to go there shopping today, Black Friday, and did tons of shopping with the result being lots of buttons/// Well, lo and behold you need to go on line and then STILL don't know what you might win... first you need to go online and enter your button number... they say "they will let you know"... what's worse is I was only allowed to give them 2 button numbers???? what's that about??? It doesn't sound above board to me... Ellen did not tell us about this BECAUSE they never informed her!!! She's to trusting (and so was I)
PLEASE let her know so she can address this issue
Thank You
