Hello Ellen! I have sent gazillions of emails, tweets and facebook posts to you the past few years. Most likely this will be another waste of time. I will pray hard tonight I am wrong. My name is Tara. I'm a 32 year old mommy of two young boys. Trey 13 and Anthony 8. I have been disabled with stage 3 Lyme disease since I was 27 years young. Late stage and undiagnosed Lyme effected my brain, heart and left me with disabling symptoms. Being I'm unable to work my husband's income is our only source of money. He is a plumber in a very small town. Sadly i am unable to afford medical treatment, two yrs ago we lost both our vehicles, have medical bills piled high, can barely afford oil to heat our home, feeding our family of four is very hard, the list goes on and on. A kind local florist provided our family with a tree this year and we are so very thankful! My husband married me in sickness not in health so I would have medical coverage. When I first became sick he had to help me shower and use the bathroom. We've endured so much in the 10 years we've been together. We are BIG Disney fanatics. I've dreamed of a wedding there. Since Lyme took my wedding day from me I live my wedding through Pinterest. I have been trying to win one of your 12 days gifts. Even downloading apps I've never heard of for a chance. I know you can't help all. I would be thankful for even just a $100 grocery card. At least it'd be one week worry free! Friends have been generous this season in offering us decorations and nominations to local radio for gift giveaways. Nothing has gone in our favor. Please Ellen help the Gerencser family smile again! Dear Ellen, first of all i want to say i just love you and your show and how you help people in need me and my family lost our home in the march2nd torando and everything we were displaced to another city where we knew no one and our daughter had to start another school my husband lost his job when he became disabled and had heart trouble we both are on a fixed income and is barley getting by we lost our christmas tree and all of the decorations in the torando and is unable to go out and buy another this will be the first time in my life that im not going to be able to put up a christmas tree or have no money to buy for my family i have a 15 yr old daughter and 2 sons i also have two grandchilren that im not going to be able to have a christmas for when my granbabies are here they will be no lights for them to look at or to see any gifts most of the time we usually end up pawing things just to get thru the month and most of the time thats not even enough i find my self loosing the reality of life i lost my mom back in august to cancer and im having a really hard time dealing with that plus all the stress and worries on how we are going to make it and to try to have a christmas for my family i know you recieve several emails and requests daily and alot of people have a hard time i am 44 yrs old and i have never been on any kind of vacation and i have never won anything i dont want nothing for my self i just want to be able to buy for my family and get a christmas tree and decroate it for my babies so i can look and remember the look on their face so im asking you my dear friend ellen please help me make this happen for my family i am asking you from the bottom of my heart please help us may god bless you. please ellen call my family christmas is right now here time is running out 606-462-3241 god bless you for what you do and what you stand for love the lewis family.

hello Ellen, I pray that I get to win the 12 day giveaways.I enter sweps.,contest all the time.no wins.Sometime I think they are;t for real,but then you got to keep your trust and your faith.That all things are possible if we do not give up hope.I am 66 yrs old.I haven't had much in my life time,but I have given what I have had,and did without myself.It hasn't hurt me at all until now.You get older and think that you will get some love and help from the people and family that you have given mush.Sorry to say it don't work that way you just end up a lonely human being.So I hope that I will be blessed my a few gifts of your Christmas.Everyday I see the care and love that you have for all people"and those loving animals"not just a chosen few.That is what we call being human.Thank you for what you do ,even if I never win a thing.Your mom must be aweful proud.I know my mon was proud of me.I have that if nothing else.Love you Ellen

I can't figure out how to enter the 12 Days Contest, but will write this comment in hopes that it will be seen by you or your staff. I'm certainly not in need, not like so many people that you help, so I'm writing to ask you to consider inviting my husband and step-daughter to attend one of the shows. Rick lost his job over 2 years ago, after working for almost 40 years, and instead of feeling sorry for himself, he used his free time (once he had exhausted every avenue looking for employment) to volunteer at the local food bank, to take over the running of our household, to become the primary caregiver for my 78 year old mother, and to coach football at a local high school. He always has a positive attitude and a love of life. His daughter, Tehra, is very much her father's daughter. She and her husband are struggling to raise their blended family of 5 children. They have four teenagers and a 7 year old - all bright, caring, beautiful children - who are always in need of something. Tehra and her husband do whatever it takes for their family and never complain or take any of life's joys for granted. If there were any chance that Rick and Tehra could attend your 12 Days show, it would be much more than they would ever ask or expect, but would certainly be a just reward for the type of people they truly are!
