Im 47 6 weeks ago found out I have Breast cancer I lost my mom at 13 to cancer my sister has lost both her breast in her ealry 30's and had a terrible experience I just a year ago June lost the greatest husband in the world to a stroke and I lost my car,My home and am living with my sister as when I lost husband a mnth now found out I have Breast and possibly lung cancer (they just found nodgeles last week on lung)i HAVE A 3 YR OLD GRANDSON THATS MY WORLD BUT 6 MNTS AGO HE HAD TO MOVE WITH HIS MOMMY TO WASH AND MY SON MOVED TO TEXAS ALL i WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A HUG FROM MY GRANDSON THAT 2 WEEKS AGO LOST HIS OTHER GRANDPA TO CANCER mY HUSBAND HIS POPPA DIED LAST YEAR please Elllen help me get a hug for christmas Im all alone and cant afford to go see any of them and we are all on very fixed incomes and they all r helping with all they can for meds and housing for me right now even if its only 20. some times its something and they try I know if theres anyone that helps its YOU hope to see u soon

Merry Christmas!! My name is Shari, I'm 23 years old, from North York, Ontario, Canada.
First, I want to say what an amazing woman I think you are. I know you hear this on a regular basis, but it's true. The help you give others in need, and the commitment you show your fans and followers is incredible. I watch your YouTube channel religiously since I don't have cable.
This year has been incredibly hard for me but when I'm feeling sad and lonely I watch your videos, and seeing the hardships that some of your guests have gone through makes my burden feel much lighter. My dad passed away two months ago, and three weeks later so did my grandfather. This Christmas is my mother and grandmother's tenth year death anniversary, and for the first time I will truly be on my own. During the time my dad was in the hospital, together we would watch your show on the hospital TV. I have close friends who have helped me through the hardest times. Also, your smile and your kindness towards others in need who have it worse always makes my day.
I have always watched your show especially during the Christmas holidays and I have always wanted to be on your show and one day meet you. The energy during the holidays has such a strong positive energy and to be a part of that crowd would be amazing. Maybe next year I'll be able to have that experience? :)

Ellen, the absolute best thing about your show to me is the joy and happiness you bring to so many deserving people. I have been home on disability since 4/13/2012 and fortunately that gives me the opportunity to watch your show at 4pm Monday - Friday unless I have a doctor's appointment or surgery conflict. Your show is uplifting. I'd like to think that I as a Christian make a difference with my donations to the American Red Cross or Cancer Fund or the Los Angeles Mission. There are so many deserving Charities helping those around us. I love watching you give. Special thanks to your sponsors "Shutterfly" and others. They are great!!!
