dvd: earthlings

For anyone who wants to know why I'm so passionate about animals, here is one of the reasons. There's an incredible documentary called "Earthlings." It's about how we treat animals on our planet in every way, covering everything from animal testing, to clothing, entertainment, pet euthanasia, and what really happens to animals before they arrive on your plate.

I have to tell you, "Earthlings" is hard to watch. It took me a while, but I finally forced myself to watch it because I wanted to educate myself instead of being ignorant to the reality of it.

What I learned is ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance is ignorance. You can't help or contribute to this planet without knowing what's really going on.

I became a vegan because I love animals, but also because I care about the planet and my health, and right now the way we are creating our food is hurting both. If you care about what you're putting in your body and feeding your family, you should watch "Earthlings." It changed my life.

You can buy the DVD of "Earthlings" on Amazon.com through this link.

I saw Earthlings years ago and I can truly say that seeing Earthlings changed my life. It was like a hammer smashing my ignorance into a million pieces. After seeing the film I felt disgusted with the way I had been living completely unaware of the truth going on around me. This film is truly hard to watch but I would never take back the experience. I own the film and one day my fiance asked me what it was I told him and he said he wanted to watch it but he doubted it would change anything. Well needless to say he couldn't even watch the whole thing and the next day he decided to stop eating meat. If everyone saw this film it would change the world.
