Hello Ellen, Ummmm Im the type of person who highly dislikes asking for help because life has never been easy for me so the couple of times that I did gather the courage to ask for help it would usually be a door slammed in my face so Ive stopped asking. The only reason why Im even commenting on here is because A co worker who I just met suggested that I take a chance and share with you a summary of a very long sad story called life. Ever since the very beginning it was hard and two generations before me it was hard which has led me to believe that this is why I'm stuck in a never ending cycle. My grandmother was a wife to a woman abuser and so was my mom, on the day of my birth I was born a month and a half early only because it was my oh so loving fathers fourth attempt to have me aborted and since third time wasn't the charm the fourth time was ( well almost ). My mom still remembers the day that it happened as if it were yesterday not only because it was the day i was born but also the day that we both almost saw the light. We lived in a small town in Michigan called shelby at the time and mom explained that my father had beaten her up and left her in the snow, she doesn't know how long she layed there before help came across her but she remembers looking down and seeing red snow, she was rushed to a small hospital. Long story short I was born but I was not the healthiest baby for obvious reasons. But thankfully after that experience my mom left my dad but since she was a single mom she had to work extra hard with two jobs and deal with me being in and out of hospitals ( I've always felt bad for that) til i was about 6 or 7. After that I was getting better but then life happened again and we were in a car accident then it was my moms turn to be in and out of hospitals, irony. My mom still lives and she is everything I love and only person I have but my whole point of this story is that since she needs back surgery she deals with chronic back pain a lot and deals with other mental illness issues as well and between a lot of doctor visits, school, and work we need a reliable car. I know you must have plenty of folks that are also in need of a car but I feel that my mom deserves something nice for once and since I can't give it her I think this car would be a blessing to her and I, so please read my summary and please take me into deep consideration, than you.

Love,G. Kendra Facundo

My niece Tina Gould has a very bad problem with a bipolar disorder, which caused her to get a divorse and she can,t hold a job because of her problem. she is doing her best to help her oldest daughter in college and her youngest daughter in school, and she does alot of running around for her children, and her car is not holding up much at all.she needs brakes and the transmission is going out and there is no way she can get it fixed does not have any money, and has problems paying her rent on time. so i would appricate it if there is some way you could help her get a new car.God Bless you for what you do for people and Thank You so much.

Can You Here Now?
Martha Love50 days agoHello Ellen, I am responding to your show I saw on 1/31/14 NEED A NEW CAR. A brief history of myself. I'm a single (devoriced),retired mother of five adult children. I worked at Boston Store for many years as a commuications manager.Since retirement I have done lots of volunteer work. I'm a treatment foster parent; I have been fostering children since 2004. My preference for placement are the babies. All the babies that are placed in my home are medically needy. I must transport them to doctor's appointment somtimes 2-3 times a wk. I'm in need of a new care that I can rely on. I have a 1998 Lincoln Town Car that needs repairs that I cannot afford. My social security retirement is only $784.00 per month. Ellen I really need a new car!! I'm a avid fan of yours and in between my many chores and changing diapers, I get a chance to watch your show.

Tanks Ellen,
Martha B. Love

Hi Ellen, I'm entering this contest to win a new car to surprise my mom (Gordana). After all these years my mom has never had the opportunity to own a car. My mother Gordana came out of a 17 year marriage with a Narcissistic man, which is My step father. My mom had to regain her confidence and take her life back into her own hands and finally at age of 48 she got her driver licence. Now my mom will be 56 years old June 18,2014. What an honor it would be to win this car for my mom Gordana. I could only Imagine the joy that this would bring to my moms heart by having a new and her very first car! Also I would like to mention that my mom adores you Ellen, and watches every episode of your show. All I ever hear from my mom is, how great it would be to meet Ellen! fun it would be to have the chance to be at the 12 days till Christmas show! Thank You Ellen for being such a great host and all the wonderful things you do to help people in this world! You are definitely some kind of Wonderful! Thank You!

Hello Ellen,
I am unable to watch the show everyday. I believe that on Wednesday, May 1, there was a msg to write and say why you would like to win a car.
I'm writing to submit the request for my granddaughter to be considered to be awarded a car. She is attending Occidental College. She would like to learn about movie production, direction and all things related to the industry. She has always been interested in the arts. Currently, she is considering staying out in Calif. to pursue her career, but because she does not have access to transportation (plus it's costly), she cannot go to auditions. Because our own limited income, we are unable to help her out. My husband is retired and has some medical issues as well. I am
also retired. I had worked part-time, but left that to be available to my hubby when he needs to get to appointments.
To add to the situation, my granddaughter's parents (my son) are getting divorced which adds to her concern, as the divorce is creating financial difficulty all around. It's not a happy situation and it breaks my heart to not be able to help her out. TMI I guess, but thought it would be helpful to know why I am reaching out.
Thank you. BTW Ellen, I love your show and all that you do for so many deserving people. May God continue to bless you because in helping others, you are being blessed with good health, happiness and much love. I love the relationships you have with Portia and above all, your mom. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO HER!!!
