ellen degeneres’ message!

Well, it's finally fall, so I spent all weekend sewing the legs back on my jean shorts.

It didn't feel like fall last week in Los Angeles. In fact, on Tuesday we had the hottest day ever in recorded history. It was so hot, I was afraid if I went outside my wig might catch on fire. So I sent some of my staff out to report on the heat.

We also kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month this week. We'll be selling pink products in The Ellen Store all month to raise money for "Ellen for the Cure." If you wanna buy something, and I know you do, go here.

My mama's not the only one trying to make it in showbiz. I was in New York a few weeks ago and made my Broadway debut in "Promises, Promises." You can watch the whole thing unfold here.

I've got some exciting news about next week; it's Magic Week on the show, which means anything can happen! I can't tell you everything I'm gonna do, but I can tell you I'll be giving away some 7-inch VIZIO TVs to my audience. And maybe you! Go here if you want a chance to win.

And on a serious note, I'm deeply saddened by the amount of bullying going on with teens. It's resulted in some tragic events. Here are my thoughts on it.

I hope you take the time this weekend to tell someone how much you love them. It can make all the difference in the world.
