Up and Coming: Selena Gomez & the Scene

Selena Gomez is only 18, and she already has a career many actors only dream of. When she was 7, she landed her first role in the children's series "Barney & Friends," and shortly after had some minor roles in a few movies. It didn't take long before the Disney Channel found her -- which changed everything.

Selena started by guest-starring on the hit Disney Channel shows "The Suite Life of Zach and Cody" and "Hannah Montana," and she was soon cast as one of the three leads in the extremely popular "The Wizards of Waverly Place," where she caught the attention of everyone.

In 2008, she formed the band Selena Gomez & The Scene. A year later, they released their first album, "Kiss & Tell," which debuted in the top ten on the Billboard 200. The single "Naturally" was certified platinum in July of 2010, the same year they released their second album, "A Year Without Rain." Now they're ready to release a third album, and stopped by to perform the first single, "Who Says." Check out the performance here.
