Ellen DeGeneres' Message!it’s time for Orlando! I’m taping my shows at Universal Orlando Resort this weekend and I’m gonna have a lot of fun. And a lot of piña coladas. And a lot of Mai Tais. Oh… and some margaritas. Watch my tweets and Facebook account all weekend to see what I’m doing.

I also can’t stop thinking about Constance McMillen. She’s the 18-year-old Mississippi high school student I interviewed last week who wanted to bring a girl to her prom. The school has since decided to completely cancel the prom.

I am so glad I got a chance to talk to Constance, she is so strong and brave to stand up for her rights. Sadly, not only has the school refused to hold a prom, parents are now organizing a private one -- and Constance is not invited.

While it is heartbreaking that this is happening, I am amazed at the response from all of you. We have made so much progress, but there is still so much to accomplish together. I hope the administration and parents at the school stand up and make the right decision. There is still time for that.

If you missed my interview with Constance, or just want to see it again, you can watch it here.

-Ellen
