Ellen DeGeneres' Message!

It was a very rainy week in Los Angeles. It rained so much, that by Friday I had to leave my car at home and ride my inner tube to work.

But the rain didn't stop me from having a fantastic week of shows. Dennis Quaid stopped by. Not only is he easy to scare , he'll also do whatever I tell him to do. I think I'm going to invite him over to my house and tell him to vacuum.

I continued my Quest for World Domination when the lovely, talented and very funny star of "Modern Family," Sofia Vergara, stopped by. (By the way, if you're not watching her show you should be.) We called the President of Columbia... who hung up on us. World Domination is not as easy as it looks, people.

I've spent this weekend drying off and getting ready for next week. Tuesday's a big day for me. It's the day I pick up my dry cleaning. And, it's my birthday! I'm going to celebrate by having two of my favorite musicians on the show. My friend Harry Connick Jr. will be here. Two things you need to know about Harry: he's from New Orleans and he has no athletic ability whatsoever. And "American Idol" alum Adam Lambert is gonna perform. The very funny Will Arnett will be here as well. The best birthday gift you could give me would be to donate to the relief efforts in Haiti. People have been incredibly generous so far, but there is still so much work to be done. To find out what you can do, go here. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and I'll see you next week. Ellen
